We follow the IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation, which ensures mold is removed in a safe and effective manner. The process begins with a full inspection and moisture assessment to locate the source of the problem. Next, we isolate the affected area using containment barriers and negative air pressure to prevent spores from spreading. We then remove contaminated materials (such as drywall or carpet) and clean all surfaces using antimicrobial solutions and HEPA vacuuming. In some cases, air scrubbers are used to purify the air during and after remediation. Finally, we ensure the area is fully dried and may apply sealants or coatings to prevent future growth.
